Hi everyone! I am Adena Montessori, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to share my story with you today. I was born on December 25, 2005 in Columbus, a holiday filled with love and laughter, which destined me from the very beginning to become synonymous with joy and growth. Columbus, the capital of Ohio, a place rich in resources provided fertile ground for my development.
My founders entrusted me with a unique mission: to follow the natural development of children and to be an angel of continuous excellence and progress. This mission is aptly reflected in my name: A for Angel, D for Development, E for Excellence, N for Nature, and A for Advancement.
Like many of you, I am deeply attracted to Dr. Maria Montessori's educational philosophy and have become a devoted fan of hers. Therefore, I began providing high-quality Montessori materials to schools, educators, and parents worldwide. Since then, I have wholeheartedly dedicated myself to the research, development, and innovation of Montessori materials, spreading these valuable educational resources globally through my online platform.
In the first three years, my team was constantly seeking suitable manufacturing factories to produce the materials. Throughout this process, we actively interacted with countless educators and parents, gathering their feedback and needs. As their expectations continued to rise, we decided to establish our own factory. In 2008, we officially launched our production base, which now encompasses nearly 20,000 square meters of production and storage space in the United States and China.
As the Montessori educational philosophy spread worldwide, my team has consistently upheld our original intention over the past 20 years. We provide schools with high-quality materials that meet international standards and offer families creative and safe educational toys. Today, my extended family has grown to five companies, with a team of over 100 members and users spread across the globe, earning recognition and praise from numerous educators, parents, and children. Next year, I will be celebrating my 20th birthday, transforming from a tender infant into a vibrant young adult, with boundless possibilities ahead!
I sincerely invite you to get to know me better and become our users or partners. I firmly believe that the more you learn about me, the more you will like me! I look forward to growing joyfully together as we follow in the footsteps of children!

A selection of our products
Crafted with the delicate developmental phase of infants and toddlers (0-1.5 years) in focus, our Montessori materials are a culmination of in-depth research and expert insights. Reflecting Dr. Montessori's wisdom on early childhood, "The child's first year is the most important in his life," our materials are meticulously designed to support the crucial formative stages of a child's life, encouraging their natural growth and transformation. | At Adena Montessori, we've curated a collection of materials for children aged 1.5 to 3, recognizing the significant developmental strides in this period. Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori's observation that "The child constructs himself," our materials are designed to encourage autonomy, motor skills, and early cognitive development. They provide a hands-on environment where children can explore, learn, and build a strong foundation for future educational pursuits. | For the preschool years, when children are aged 3 to 6, we offer a comprehensive set of Montessori materials that align with Dr. Montessori's belief that "Fantasy is a necessary condition for learning." Our materials are crafted to stimulate the imagination, foster independence, and refine social skills. They are designed to guide children through concrete experiences that lead to abstract thinking, preparing them for more structured learning. | For 6-12 year olds, our Montessori materials foster abstract thinking, problem-solving, and exploration. They're designed to nurture a love for learning, critical thinking, and creativity through hands-on experiences, in line with the belief that education comes from environmental interaction, not just words. |
